It has been reported that Accord Mortgages which are part of Yorkshire Building Society, are releasing a 10% Mortgage for first time buyers, but it is being withdrawn at 20.00 on Wednesday 4th November so act fast.

The Interest rate is 3.79% for a 5 year fixed for those with a 10% deposit and a £995 fee, available on loans unto £500k.  Those over 500k-1Mil (strong first time house BTW) the rate increases to 3.89%

Nationwide are offering a slightly cheaper deal on 90% loans at 3.49% with £999 fee but these are only eligible to new home owners.

As always, do your research, buy for the right reasons – if these lock downs continue to come back having somewhere to call home, your own space might be beneficial for many reasons.
